Chris Konstantinou, md.
Chris has graduated from Wright State University with a B.Sc. degree in 1985 with Magna Cum Laude honours. He went on and graduated from the Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1989 with Honours. He then went on to pursue Specialty training in Internal Medicine (Toronto General Hospital and Sunnybrook Hospital). This was followed by residency training in Cardiology at the University of Western Ontario and then Subspecialty fellowship at St. Michaels Hospital in Nuclear Cardiology.
Chris has been in private practice since 1995. He has hospital privileges at St. Michaels Hospital where he treats patients on the Vascular and Cardiovascular floors as well as being on the Nuclear Cardiology reading rotation. His special clinical interests include early diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, non invasive assessment of coronary artery disease via Stress Echo and Myocardial Perfusion Imaging, preventive cardiology, as well all other forms of cardiac conditions ranging from valvular, cardiomyopathy, vascular, and a continued interest in adult congenital heart disease.
Chris is a knowledgeable and caring physician who takes great pride in putting his patients at ease during what is an obviously stressful and emotional experience to most when they are sent for Cardiology referrals. Patient attentiveness and care are first priority to him which is highly appreciated by all his patients.
